Turning raw data into decisions
Data analyst with an MBA and a background in energy, transitioning into analytics through the 10Alytics programme. I build dashboards, pivot frameworks, and written reports that help businesses understand what is driving performance and where the next opportunity lies.
View my workBackground
I am a data analyst in training with an MBA and several years of professional experience at TotalEnergies, where I developed a strong foundation in business operations and strategic thinking.
Through the 10Alytics Data Analytics Programme, I am building hands-on expertise in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL โ applying those skills to real business datasets and portfolio projects that mirror the problems analysts solve every day.
My analytical work spans various industries โ always focused on the same outcome: clear insights that lead to better decisions, not just pretty charts.
Based in Calgary, Alberta. Open to analyst roles across Canada and internationally.
Toolkit
Work
Microsoft Excel
October โ December 2025
Evaluated whether a Board-mandated turnaround strategy reversed three consecutive quarters of 20% revenue decline. Covered sales trends, regional performance, product profitability, and customer segmentation across 2,000 orders and $114.7M in revenue.
Microsoft Excel
July โ September 2025
End-to-end sales analysis for a U.S. e-commerce retailer covering monthly MoM trends, category performance, state-level revenue, customer age segmentation, time-of-day purchasing behaviour, and payment method analysis across 2,000 orders.
Power BI
May 2025
Built an interactive Power BI dashboard for a high-end fashion boutique operating across three store locations. Identified top-selling categories and products, visualised sales trends over time, and broke down revenue by gender and payment type for 31 customers across 771 transactions.
Python
2026
End-to-end Python analysis of 15+ years of real Canada Energy Regulator pipeline data. Cleaned and aggregated multi-product regulatory filings, calculated rolling averages and utilization variance, and identified and corrected a data-aggregation bug that was inflating utilization figures before finalizing results.
Power BI
2026
Interactive three-visual Power BI dashboard built on the same cleaned pipeline dataset โ a trend line comparing throughput to capacity, a utilization KPI card, and a year-over-year comparison. Cross-validated calculated metrics against an independent Python analysis to confirm consistency across tools.
Python
2026
Short-horizon throughput forecast using a transparent moving-average model, chosen deliberately over a more complex method for full explainability. Documents method, assumptions, and known limitations explicitly โ including where the model would fail to anticipate real historical disruption patterns.
Power BI
January โ December 2022
End-to-end sales analysis for a beverage brand across four national retail partners, evaluating FY2022 performance against target, seasonal trends, retailer and regional concentration, and product portfolio mix across 288 transactions and $1.21M in revenue.
Power BI
January 2022 โ September 2023
Sales, profitability, and inventory analysis for a 50-store toy retail chain in Mexico. Identified category profit drivers by store location, seasonal sales patterns, stockout-driven revenue loss, and inventory carrying cost across 829,262 transactions.
Power BI
January 2020 โ June 2022
Multi-page Power BI dashboard and business report analyzing global bike and accessories sales across 7 countries. Covered category profitability, revenue trends, geographic performance, returns, and customer segmentation across 56,046 order lines.
Writing
Independent analysis on energy M&A, infrastructure, and market pricing โ written to build and demonstrate analytical judgment, not just describe events.
Market Note
July 2026
A look at Cygnet Energy's C$1.4B acquisition of Kiwetinohk Energy, closed December 2025. Argues the modest 10.4% premium reflects a market still pricing Duvernay/Montney names on production and drilling inventory, while underpricing the real value driver in the basin: committed pipeline egress and infrastructure control.
Market Note
July 2026
Argues the market's Montney re-rating thesis, built on LNG Canada demand and a narrowing AECO-Henry Hub basis, is underweighting the roughly 200 drilled-but- uncompleted Montney wells sitting on the sidelines โ a reversible capital-allocation decision, not a fixed supply constraint, that could cap the pace of any price recovery.
